The Game Stories
• The Fighting Scots have won two games in a row after a 77-61 victory over host Pitt-Johnstown on Saturday. Edinboro can match its longest winning streak of three games with a win on Wednesday against Seton Hill. The Griffins have dropped two straight games after a narrow 53-51 loss to first-place Gannon on Saturday.

Henri Wade-Chatman led all scorers with 27 points in the win over UPJ, his ninth 20-point scoring performance of the season. Casey Baker and Tommy Scales each posted double-doubles for Edinboro, as Baker scored a season-high 19 points to go along with 10 rebounds, while Scales finished with 13 markers nd a game-high 11 boards.

• Wade-Chatman ranks second in the PSAC in scoring at 19.6 points per game, while the junior guard is third in the conference with 2.7 3-point field goals made per game and fourth in the league in 3-point field goal percentage, shooting 44.5 percent from behind the arc. Casey Baker leads the Fighting Scots and ranks 15th in the PSAC in rebounding at 6.6 boards per game, followed by Tommy Scales at 16th in the conference at 6.5 rebounds per contest.

• Edinboro ranks fourth in the PSAC in scoring offense at 76.8 points per game and fourth in the league in scoring defense at 66.3 points per game. In Saturday's contest, the Fighting Scots forced UPJ to shoot a season-low 32.2 percent (20-of-62) from the field. UPJ came into the game averaging 78.1 points per game, good for second in the conference.

• Seton Hill ranks 17th out of 18 teams in the conference in scoring offense at 65.4 points per game. The Griffins lead the PSAC with5.3 blocked shots per game.

• The Fighting Scots are 7-2 at home this season and2-7 on the road. Edinboro is 7-2 on weekdays and 1-7 in weekend games, while Seton Hill is 1-5 on the road this season.

Series Tied 2-2

• Edinboro won the teams' first meeting in 2007-08, with six Fighting Scots scoring in double-figures led by Joe Jones' 22 markers to give Edinboro a 98-71 victory. The Fighting Scots also claimed an 89-64 win earlier this season.

• Seton Hill won both meetings last season. The Griffins won the first contest between the two teams last season by a score of 95-93 on a Kameron Taylor shot at the buzzer at McComb Fieldhouse. Seton Hill also came out on top in the second meeting 73-61 in Greensburg.

• Last season marked the Griffins' first season in the PSAC, as Seton Hill previously competed in the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WVIAC).

11/19/14 - Edinboro 89, Seton Hill 64

Henri Wade-Chatman dropped in a game-high 30 points, knocking down 6 of 11 shots from behind the arc to lead Edinboro to a convincing 89-64 victory over host Seton Hill.

• Trailing 16-11 with 14:03 remaining in the first half, Edinboro used a 26-4 run fueled by five three-point baskets, including two from Jaymon Mason to give the Fighting Scots a 37-20 lead with 6:20 to play in the opening period.

• Edinboro would hold an 18-point advantage at the half at 52-30, before building their lead to as many as 28 points in the second half at the 6:33 mark on a Wade-Chatman three-pointer.

Jaymon Mason added 12 points, while Chibunna Ukandu and Tommy Scales each tallied 10 points off the bench.

• Noah Davis led Seton Hill with 22 points and a game-high nine rebounds, while David Windsor had 21 markers.


The Coaches
Edinboro - Pat Cleary (Edinboro '99)

• Cleary is in his second year as head coach of the Fighting Scots, leading Edinboro to an 19-25 record in that time.

• Cleary took over for his mentor Greg Walcavich, who spent 24 years at the helm of the Edinboro program.

• He previously worked as an assistant under Walcavich for 16 years, first as a student aide before becoming a full-time assistant coach.

• Cleary is credited for recruiting many of Edinboro's top contributors in recent years. (More complete bio on pg. 10)


Seton Hill - Tony Morocco (Youngstown St.)
• Morocco is in his 12th season in charge of the Seton Hill men's basketball program.

• He was hired as the university's first men's basketball coach in 2002, leading the Griffins to a 162-158 record at the helm.

• Morocco led Seton Hill to a 15-12 record and a PSAC postseason berth last season in the Griffins' inaugural campaign in the conference.

• He previously held coaching positions with Saint Francis (Pa.), Iowa, UNLV, St. Vincent and most recently Point Park.

1/24/15 - Edinboro 77, Pitt-Johnstown 61

Henri Wade-Chatman scored a game-high 27 points, while Casey Baker and Tommy Scales each notched double-doubles to propel Edinboro to a 77-61 victory over host Pitt-Johnstown

• With 6:30 remaining in the game, UPJ's Dale Clancy converted a layup to cut the Fighting Scots' lead to six points at 58-52.

• Edinboro would answer with an 11-2 run capped by a Wade-Chatman's 3-pointer to put the Fighting Scots ahead by 15 points at 69-54 at the 3:28 mark of the half.

• Edinboro did not let the Mountain Cats come within 12 points the rest of the way, as the Fighting Scots built their advantage to as many as 16 points when Baker put an exclamation point on the victory with his first dunk of the season with 20 seconds showing on the clock.

• Wade-Chatman connected on 9-of-18 field goals, including 2-of-5 shots from behind the arc.

• Baker posted his first double-double of the season and 10th of his career with a season-high 19 points, 17 coming in the second half to go along with 10 boards.

• Scales finished with 13 points and 11 rebounds, marking his second double-double of the season.


1/24/15 - Gannon 53, Seton Hill 51
• Trailing 48-40 with 5:57 to play, Seton Hill scored eight consecutive points to knot the game at 48-48 with 1:22 left. David Windsor capped the run with a 3-pointer.

• The Golden Knights the lead back at 50-48 with 1:01 showing on the clock.

• Windsor countered with another 3-pointer 26 seconds later, pushing the Griffins back in front 51-50.

• Gannon's Girbran Smith would nail a 3-pointer with 16 seconds remaining to put the Golden Knights ahead 53-50.

• Following a pair of timeouts, Windsor misfired on a 3-point attempt as the horn sounded to secure Gannon's two-point victory.

• Kameron Taylor paced Seton Hill with 16 points and seven rebounds, connecting on 7-of-12 field goals in the game. Windsor tallied 12 points, knocking down 3-of-4 shots from behind the arc.


Scouting Seton Hill
• Seton Hill sits in eighth place in the PSAC Western Divison standings with a 5-9 mark in conference play. The Griffins were picked to finish sixth in the division after posting a 6-10 mark last season.

• David Windsor ranks seventh in the PSAC and paces the Griffins in scoring at 16.1 points per game. He is also ninth in the conference in field goal percentage, shooting 47.3 percent on the season. The 6'1'' guard has scored in double-figures in 12 games this season, including a pair of 30-point performances and four 20-point games.

• Kameron Taylor, a Preseason All-PSAC Western Division pick, ranks second on the team in scoring and rebounding at 13.3 points and 5.1 boards per contest. A 6'6'' guard, he is averaging 18.0 markers per game in his last three contests.

• Spencer Casson leads Seton Hill and ranks 20th in the PSAC in rebounding at 6.1 boards per game. The 6'8'' center paces the conference and ranks second in Division II with 3.6 blocked shots per game. With 54 total blocks on the season, he has posted 14 more blocked shots than any other player in the league.

• Noah Davis ranks second in the PSAC in 3-point field goal percentage (.500) and fourth in the conference in 3-point field goals made per game (2.5).
