The Game Stories
• The Fighting Scots have won three games in a row after a 77-54 triumph over Seton Hill, matching their longest winning streak of the season. Edinboro also matched its win total from last season with the win on Wednesday. The Fighting Scots closed the 2014-15 campaign with a 10-16 mark. California (Pa.) has dropped two straight games and four of its last five contests.

• With seven PSAC West games to play this season, Edinboro is sixth in the division with a 7-8 ledger in conference play. The top six teams from each PSAC division qualify for the PSAC Tournament. Cal sits fifth in the PSAC West with an 8-7 record in the league. The Fighting Scots last qualified for the postseason during the 2012-13 season.

Will Marrow scored a career-high 17 points on 6-of-7 shooting, including a perfect 2-of-2 from behind the arc against Seton Hill Wednesday. The redshirt junior guard connected on 3-of-5 free throws to go along with five rebounds. Marrow has scored in double-figures in three games this season. He led five Fighting Scots in double-figures, as Jaymon Mason and Sheldon Brogdon each added 11 points, while both Henri Wade-Chatman and Tommy Scales chipped in 10 points in the win.

• Following Wednesday's 23-point victory over Seton Hill, Edinboro has now won seven games this season by 20-or-more points. Six of the Fighting Scots' PSAC losses have come by a combined 20 points.

Henri Wade-Chatman paces the PSAC in scoring at 19.1 points per game, while the junior guard is third in the conference with 2.7 3-point field goals made per game and fourth in the league in 3-point field goal percentage, shooting 43.6 percent from behind the arc. Casey Baker leads the Fighting Scots and ranks 15th in the PSAC in rebounding at 6.6 boards per game, followed by Tommy Scales at 18th in the conference at 6.3 rebounds per contest.

• The Fighting Scots are 8-2 at home this season and 2-7 on the road. Cal is 5-4 at home.

The Edinboro-California (Pa.) Series
Cal leads 92-78

• The series dates back to 1928-29.

• The Vulcans won the teams' first meeting this season at McComb Fieldhouse 69-63 and have won four of their last five games against Edinboro.

• The two teams split meetings last season, with Henri Wade-Chatman sealing a 69-67 victory at home with a game-winning jumper with three seconds to play. The Vulcans came out on top by a score of 70-65 at the Convocation center in the teams' first meeting last season.

• The Fighting Scots have not won at Cal since the 2011-12 season. Edinboro is 3-7 in its last 10 games on the road against the Vulcans.

• Saturday's matchup marks the 171st meeting between the two teams, as the Scots have faced the Vulcans more than any other opponent.

The Last Meeting
11/22/14 - California (Pa.) 69, Edinboro 63

Jaymon Mason's 23-point performance was not enough in the first meeting between the two teams, as Edinboro fell to California (Pa.) by a score of 69-63 at McComb Fieldhouse.

• Trailing by three points at 60-57 with just over a minute remaining in the contest, Henri Wade-Chatman drained two free throws to cut the deficit to one at 60-59.

• Unfortunately for Edinboro, California would sink 9 of 10 free throw attempts in the final 31 seconds of the game, never letting the lead shrink below three points to hold on for the conference triumph.

• Mason connected on 5 of 13 field goals, and 9 of 13 free throws. The redshirt freshman also knocked down four of nine tries from behind the arc.

• Wade-Chatman was the only other Fighting Scot in double-figures with 15 markers

• Arman Marks recorded a double-double for the Vulcans, tallying a team-high 22 points and game-high 12 rebounds. Khalil Jabbie and Tony Richardson posted 14 and 10 points, respectively for California and Richard Smith contributed 10 rebounds.

The Coaches
Edinboro - Pat Cleary (Edinboro '99)

• Cleary is in his second year as head coach of the Fighting Scots, leading Edinboro to an 20-25 record in that time.

• Cleary took over for his mentor Greg Walcavich, who spent 24 years at the helm of the Edinboro program.

• He previously worked as an assistant under Walcavich for 16 years, first as a student aide before becoming a full-time assistant coach.

• Cleary is credited for recruiting many of Edinboro's top contributors in recent years. (More complete bio on pg. 10)

California (Pa.) - Bill Brown (Ohio '74)
• Brown is in his 19th year in charge of the Vulcans, showing a record of 356-184 record during that period. Brown led California (Pa.) to an 11-16 mark last season and a 6-10 ledger in PSAC play en route to a PSAC Championship Tournament berth.

• He ranks as the Vulcans' all-time winningest coach thanks to eight 20-win campaigns. Brown has led Cal to 13 appearances in the PSAC Tournament, highlighted by league titles in 1999 and 2008.

• In 28 years as a head coach at Cal, Sacramento State and Kenyon, he owns a 481-311 career record with eight NCAA Tournament appearances.

• Brown hired current Virginia Commonwealth head coach Shaka Smart as a graduate assistant at Cal. Smark led VCU to a Final Four appearance in 2011.

Last Time Out
1/28/15 - Edinboro 77, Seton Hill 54

• Five Fighting Scots scored in double-figures, including a career-high 17 markers by Will Marrow, as Edinboro won its third consecutive game, topping visiting Seton Hill 77-54 at McComb Fieldhouse.

• Marrow also made a large impact on the defensive end, holding Seton Hill leading scorer David Windsor to 5 points on the night. Windsor, a 6'1'' guard, came into the game averaging 16.1 points per game but was 0-for-7 from the field on Wednesday.

Jaymon Mason scored 11 points, dished out a game and career-high eight assists while pulling down seven rebounds.

1/28/15 - Mercyhurst 58, California (Pa.) 57
• California dropped its second straight game in a 58-57 defeat at the hands of host Mercyhurst on Wednesday night.

• Holding a 56-55 lead late in the second half, the Lakers knocked down a pair of free throws to extened their advantage to three points at 58-55 with 31 seconds to play.

• Cal's Khalil Jabbie would grab a rebound on a missed 3-pointer and convert the putback to cut the deficit to 58-57 with just 12 seconds showing on the clock.

• Mercyhurst missed the front end of the one-and-one, before Jabbie's potential game-winning layup was off the mark with one second remaining.

• Khalil Jabbie scored a team-high 13 points and added five rebounds. Calvin Brown finished with 11 points and nine rebounds, while Richard Smith posted 10 points and nine rebounds.

Previewing California (Pa.)
