EDINBORO, Pa. (October 8, 2015) – The Edinboro University women's soccer team, after a win against Mercyhurst Wednesday to extend their winning streak to three games, looks to make it four wins in a row on Saturday, October 10 at 12:00 p.m. at Bloomsburg.
Wednesday's 2-0 win over Mercyhurst boosted the Fighting Scots to 8-3-0 overall and 7-2-0 in the PSAC. The Huskies are 6-4-1 overall and 5-4-1 in the PSAC. Edinboro is ranked 25th in NCAA Division II and third in the Atlantic Region in the latest NSCAA poll.

Alexis Becker each had a goal in the victory over Mercyhurst. Hammer is second on the team in scoring with 12 points on six goals, trailing senior forward
Jansen Hartmann.
Hartmann leads the Fighting Scots with 19 points on eight goals and three assists. She is ranked ninth all-time in Edinboro scoring in career points (61), eighth in career goals (22) and fourth in career assists (17).
Goalkeeper
Sarah Baskey has started seven games in goal. She has a 6-1-0 record with six goals allowed and four shutouts.
Bloomsburg has won its last two matches, defeating Slippery Rock on Saturday and Mansfield on Wednesday by identical 1-0 scores. The Huskies' other three PSAC wins came against Lock Haven, Millersville and Seton Hill.
Freshman forward Allie Barber leads the Huskies in scoring with 13 points on six goals and one assist. Ashley Sanchez is second with 12 points on five goals and two assists. Goalie Devon Haviland has a 1.04 goals against average with five shutouts.
Edinboro defeated Bloomsburg in double overtime last year, 2-1.
Liz Debo scored both goals for the Fighting Scots, including the game-winning goal in the 103rd minute. Megan Carroll scored the Huskies' lone goal.
Following Saturday's match, the Fighting Scots have a showdown at undefeated and top-ranked Gannon on Tuesday, October 13 at 6:30 p.m.
