MONROEVILLE, Pa. (April 16, 2015) – The Edinboro women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to No. 32 Indiana (Pa.) in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Western Division matchup at the Monroeville Club For Life in Monroeville, Pa. The Fighting Scots close the regular season with a 7-11 overall mark and a 1-5 ledger in PSAC play, while the Crimson Hawks boosted their records to 14-6 and 5-1, respectively.
The match was originally scheduled to be played at IUP's Maple Street Courts, but was moved indoors due to rain.
Marija Tmusic earned a 6-2 win in the first set over Raquel Gonzalez at No. 3 singles, before Gonzalez rallied for a 6-3 triumph in the second set and a 10-5 victory in the third.
Edinboro came into the match ranked eighth in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association Atlantic Regional Rankings, while the Crimson Hawks are second in the region.
