ERIE, Pa. (April 8, 2015) – The duo of Julia Hellstern and Lydia Browne earned the lone victory in doubles play on Wednesday night, as the Fighting Scots fell by a score of 8-1 to Mercyhurst in a PSAC Western Division matchup at the Westwood Racquet Club in Erie, Pa. Edinboro moves to 5-9 on the season and 0-3 in PSAC play, while the Lakers boost their records to 9-2 and 2-1, respectively.

Hellstern and Browne earned an 8-2 victory at the No. 3 doubles position over Mercyhurst's Katelyn Caniford and Adina Spahalic.

The Fighting Scots are back in action Friday on the road at Seton Hill. The PSAC West match is set to begin at 2 p.m. in Greensburg, Pa.
