Edinboro Track and Field Set to Host Al Hall Freedom Games this Weekend

EDINBORO, Pa. (January 13, 2016) – The Edinboro University men's and women's track and field team will host the Al Hall Freedom Games this Saturday, January 16. The event will take place in the Mike S. Zafirovski Sports and Recreation Dome with the first event beginning at 10 a.m.
 
The teams scheduled to complete include Edinboro, Slippery Rock, Thiel, Carnegie Mellon, Lock Haven, Clarion, Lake Erie, Seton Hill, Walsh, Westminster, and Pitt-Johnstown.
 
The scheduled time of events is as follows:
 
10 a.m. – Pent 60 Meter Hurdles
 
10 a.m. – Weight Throw (Men followed by Women)
                 Long Jump (Women followed by Men)
 
11:30 a.m. - Pole Vault (Women followed by Men)
                    Shot Put (Men followed by Women)
                    High Jump (Men followed by Women)
                    Triple Jump (Women followed by Men)
 
1:15 p.m. – Elementary 800
 
1:30 p.m. – Elementary Mile
 
1:45 p.m. – Mile Run (Men followed by Women in all races)
 
2:20 p.m. – 60 Meter Hurdles
 
2:45 p.m. – 400 Meter Dash
 
3:05 p.m. – 60 Meter Dash
 
3:20 p.m. – 800 Meter Run
 
3:40 p.m. – 200 Meter Dash
 
4:10 p.m. – 3,000 Meter Run
 
4:35 p.m. – 4 x 400 Meter Relay
 
4:50 p.m. – 4 x 800 Meter Relay
5:15 p.m. - DMR
