Pittsburgh, Pa. – The Edinboro track & field teams turned in multiple PSAC qualifying performances in cold and windy conditions at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational Friday and Saturday.
On Friday,
Katie Slimon posted a PSAC qualifying time of 11:34.88 in her first race of the season just eight seconds off her personal best time.
Jocelyn Wilson also turned in a PSAC qualifying time with an 18:20.54 in the 5K.
Garrett Bartlebaugh ran a 10:00.21 just missing the PSAC mark. A pair of distance freshman
Ralph Antonucci and
Shea McCusker ran their first collegiate 5K. Antonucci was 27
th in 15:15.70 and McCusker ran a 15:24.95 to place 34.
On Saturday, Maddie Hays added her name to the PSAC qualifier list with a time of 1:05.07 in the 400-meter hurdles placing fifth at the meet.
Madeline Newark ran a 15.31 in the 100-hurdles to place eighth.
On the men's side,
Hayden Skinner and Garrett Skinner both scored PSAC qualifying times in the 110-hurdles with Hayden posting a 15.27 and Garrett a 15.39.
Logan Kerstetter turned in a javelin throw of 54.70 meters a PSAC qualifying mark.
The Scots are back in action on Friday at the Dave Labor Invitational.
