Lewisburg, Pa. – The Edinboro track & field team competed at the Bison Outdoor Classic and the Susquehanna River Hawk Multi this past weekend.
The Scots had a pair of athletes competing at the River Hawk Multi.
Connor Munson turned in a fifth-place finish with a score of 6591 taking fifth at the meet and ranking 17
th in Division II.
Camden Kirker was 10
th at the Multi with a score of 6105.
The Edinboro women had a strong showing led by three personal bests in the 1500-meter.
Kadi Bauer ran a 4:40.64 to place seventh.
Madeline Hammond also posted a PSAC qualifying time of 4:48.21. Katie Shope ran a 4:55.47.
The men's 1500 runners also turned in personal bests.
Shea McCusker improved his PSAC qualifying time with a run of 3:57.14.
Ackerly Mulcaster crossed the line in 4:07.85.
Jocelyn Wilson posted a 39:16.12 in the 10K for a PSAC qualifying time.
Madeline Newark and Michaela Mitcell each ran PSAC qualifying marks in the 100-hurdles with times of 14.97 and 15.13 respectively.
Mackenzie Huston and
Morgan Wilhelm ran 1:01.95 and 1:02.00 in the 400-meter hurdles to finish eighth and ninth and turn in PSAC qualifying times. Mitchell added a PSAC mark in the long jump with a jump of 5.60 meters.
Donald Shymske crossed the line in 1:53.96 in the 800 meter to qualify for PSACs. The Scots had a pair of athletes reach PSAC qualifying times in the 3K steeplechase.
Wesley Kellermeier finished in 9:48.48 and
Garrett Bartlebaugh turned in a 9:56.17.
The Scots are back in action on Thursday at the John Pappa Invitational hosted by Slippery Rock.
