MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – It was quick work for the Edinboro women's tennis team as they picked up a 7-2 win over Millersville on the road. The Fighting Scots conclude the fall portion of their schedule with a 2-0 overall record.

Edinboro gave up a total of six games between all the singles and doubles matches.

Once again, Edinboro was playing down a player, traveling only with five players. This gave Millersville a 2-0 lead before the match started. "Millersville played tough and it was a match to watch," said interim head coach Kody Duncan, "I am extremely happy of how we played today."

The Fighting Scots made quick work in doubles as Laura Lopez and Tatiana Batalla Trabal defeated Katina Jones and Corinne Grohoski, 8-1. Senior Roxana Yeh and Jelena Vucenovic did not give up a game to Megan Rovenolt and Haley Nauman in their 8-0 win.

Singles picked up where doubles left off for Edinboro. Lopez picked up her win at the top spot after Jones retired with Lopez leading 4-1 in the first set. Bot Batalla Trabal and Vucenovic swept through their matches at #2 and #4, respectively, 6-0, 6-0. Yeh down Rovenolt in quick work 6-2, 6-0.

Edinboro takes a break until the spring portion of the season on Saturday, February 3 against Walsh. Match time is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
