BLOOMSBURG, Pa. -- Senior
Laura Lopez led the way for the Edinboro women's tennis team this past weekend at the PSAC Singles & Doubles Championships. However it came at a cost of a teammate.
Both Lopez and fellow senior
Tatiana Batalla Trabal won their opening round singles matches. The two then had to face-off against one another with Lopez winning in a match tiebreaker, 6-4, 4-6, 10-5. The two then paired up at the No. 1 seed in the doubles tournament. They won their quarterfinal match before falling to a pair from Indiana(Pa.).
The Fighting Scots will have short week before hosting West Chester at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 6 in a non-conference match up.Â
