  • Edinboro and Mercyhurst battled to a scoreless tie in two overtimes on Friday night. That left the Fighting Scots with a 7-2-2 overall record, along with 7-0-2 in the PSAC West. That is the second-best streak for nine matches in school history. The 2001 Edinboro edition went 8-0-1 in nine matches.  They have already eclipsed last year's win total, when Edinboro finished at 6-11-0.
  • The Fighting Scots have had to go a bit extra in recent matches. Four of their last five contests have gone into overtime, with the Scots posting two wins and two ties in those matches.
  • Indiana(Pa.) comes in with a 6-4-0 record overall, and is 5-4-0 in league play. The Crimson Hawks have run off three straight wins, including a 3-1 win over Cal U on Saturday.
  • Mahogany Willis, a sophomore forward, has 11 goals and 3 assists for 25 points. She leads the PSAC in both goals and points. No other Crimson hawk has scored more than two goals. She earned third team All-PSAC honors last year after contributing 14 goals and an assist for 29 points.

In addition, he ranks second in wins among PSAC women's soccer coaches, exceeded only by West Chester's Betsy Anne Kempf-Townsley with 332 wins.  He has been selected the PSAC Coach of the Year three times (2001, '05, '07).
