SLIPPERY ROCK, PA. -- Trae Smith recorded a PSAC qualifying distance in the javelin to lead a trio of Fighting Scots at the Dave Labor Invitational host by Slippery Rock. 

Smith threw a distance of 54.55m, finishing sixth, to qualify for the PSAC Championships in Mansfield in just over a month. 

Anthony Kahley finished 15th in the 400m dash in a time of :54.21. Johnny Lang placed 15th in the 800m run in a time of 2:03.11

The Fighting Scots travel to the Westminster Invitational next Saturday, April 13. The all-day event takes place in New Wilmington, Pa.
