Fighting Scots Look for First Win vs. Daemen After Falling to Ashland

Box Score (New/Sortable Format) EDINBORO, Pa. – The Edinboro women's tennis team will look for win number one on Wednesday when they host Daemen. On Tuesday, the all-freshmen squad fell to 0-3 on the young season with a 7-0 loss to visiting Ashland. The Eagles improved to 3-1 with the win.

After dropping the doubles matches, the singles matches saw a pair of tight defeats. At number one singles, Lilly Schmidt lost a long three-set match for the second straight time. The freshman from Germany won the first set, 6-3, before losing the next two, 6-4 and 11-9.
At number five singles, Lauren Chiacchia fell by identical scores of 7-5, 7-5.
