EDINBORO, PA - Edinboro (8-6) will be celebrating their senior players when they take on Slippery Rock (11-3-2) on Saturday, Oct. 30, Kickoff 1 p.m. at Sox Harrison Stadium.

11 seniors will be celebrated on Saturday afternoon against Slippery Rock in PSAC action, the game has importance for both looking ahead to the post season.

Anna Voelker has been an ever present in the goal for Edinboro, the senior captain has tallied over 50 games for the Fighting Scots with over 250 saves to her name.

The Edinboro defence has been a tough task for opposing teams thanks to its foundations of Cameron Bujnoski, Bryn Cancilla, Mary Sinan, Mary English, Maggie Fragapane and Marissa Shields who will all be sorely missed after their final season.

Cameron, Marissa and Maggie have each played close to 70 games for Edinboro showing their commitment to the cause. Mary Sinan will be looking to end her season strong after scoring three goals so far this season adding to her four assists in previous seasons.

Senior captain Jenna Derbis another of the ever present core of The Fighting Scots will have over 65 games at the end of the season. Jenna's workrate and determination in the midfield was always evident in games.

Leah Czechowski, Regina Ploplis and Brittnie Spithaler will be handing over the reins of the Edinboro forward line after this season. Brittnie Spithaler has had a standout career for Edinboro being a constant threat to PSAC defences. Brittnie has scored 15 goals and assisted nine during her time.

We thank all our seniors for their commitment and contribution to the program and university during their years. We wish them good luck in their futures and the final games of the season.
