EDINBORO, PA – The Edinboro Women's Tennis team (2-0) will host Shippensburg University on Oct. 8. at 4 p.m. 

Your Fighting Scots 

• Edinboro is coming off last weekend's performance at PSAC Championship in Bloomsburg, PA 
• The Scots brought home two wins, recording one win in the singles bracket and one in the doubles bracket 
• For singles, freshman Vidisha Pallamreddy was victorious and defeated Seton Hill's Cameron Beer 6-0, 6-1 
• In doubles, the duo of sophomore Marina Zottele and freshman Rafaella De Negrao Almeida got a win over Frushour/Burner from Shepherd 8-1 
• Pallamreddy has had an impressive start to her freshman season, she has posted five wins and only one loss  

Shippensburg University 

• Edinboro comes into the match up with an all-time record of (2-0) against Shippensburg 
• Shippensburg also competed in the PSAC Championships last weekend at Bloomsburg University 
• In the Doubles bracket the duo of Sklar Walder and Kendall Winters fell short in the first round to Shaw-Morris/Heckert of Millersville University 8-0 
• The singles bracket Walder fell to the third seed Katy Graydon from IUP 6-0, 6-1 
• Winters was also defeated in the first round of the singles bracket, she was defeated by Lois Page of Slippery Rock University 6-0, 6-1
