EDINBORO, PA – The Edinboro Women's Tennis defeated Shippensburg University with a final score of 7-0. 

Singles

• On the singles side freshman Vidisha Pallamreddy got things going by dominating her opponent Kendall Winter 6-0, 6-0.
• Freshman Anisha Thada was also victorious in a dominating fashion, she defeated Brighid Cantwell 6-0, 6-0. 
• Sophomore Marina Zottele also had a commanding win over Sahar Islam 6-0, 6-0. 
• Continuing with singles, freshman Kaitlin Toth recorded an impressive win over Jessalyn Morrow with a final score of 6-2, 6-0. 
• Freshman Rafaella Negrao De Almeida was victorious over Sklyer Walder 6-0, 6-2. 
• The final singles match was freshman Ana Nadai defeating Kayla Tryanski 6-2, 6-1. 

Doubles

• On the doubles side, the duo of Pallamreddy and Thada captured a victory over Winter/Walder 6-3. 
• Zottele teamed up with De Almeida to defeat Cantwell/Morrow with a score of 6-1. 
• The final doubles match had the duo of Toth and Nadai taking down Islam/Tryanski 6-1. 

The Edinboro Women's Tennis team's next scheduled match up with East Stroudsburg University has been canceled. Edinboro will be back in action Friday Oct. 15. They will host D'Youville College at 6 p.m.
