WSOC | PREVIEW | Final home game of the season against Pitt-Johnstown with lots still to play for

EDINBORO, PA – Edinboro (8-7) will take home field for the final time this season when they take on Pitt-Johnstown (5-10-2). With places still to play for in the PSAC post-season picture the game is still of great importance. The game is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 3, Kickoff 6 p.m. at Sox Harrison Stadium.
 
Your Fighting Scots
  • Edinboro will be looking to secure a PSAC playoff spot with victory on Wednesday going a long way to clinching the fourth and final spot in the West. Currently Indiana (Pa.) are two points behind with two games to play, they play Mercyhurst on Wednesday, Nov. 3, Kickoff at 4 p.m.
  • The Fighting Scots will have to overcome Pitt-Johnstown who proved to be a stubborn opponent when they met earlier in the season. Edinboro were 1-0 winners with thanks to Morgan Wissner who scored the game winner
  • The game followed a similar pattern to many others this season with Edinboro creating nine more attempts than Pitt-Johnstown but could only find the back of the net the once
 
The Mountain Cats
  • Pitt-Johnstown enter the game in good form with a win and a draw in their last two outings. They beat Indiana (Pa.) 2-1 and tied 0-0 with California (Pa.) to make it two games without a loss, their best streak of the season
  • Goal scorers against IUP were Morgan Kost and Abby Jackson. Morgan Kost scored her ninth goal of the season, adding to her five assists which sees her top the point table for the Mountain Cats with 23 points
