EDINBORO, PA - Edinboro will be looking to end the season with a win before heading into PSAC playoff play next week. Edinboro travels to Seton Hill on Saturday, Nov. 6, kickoff 11 a.m. in the last regular season action for both teams.
Your Fighting Scots
- Edinboro sealed their PSAC playoff berth on Wednesday evening with victory over Pitt-Johnstown, 3-1 winners on the night
- Lexi Boyk (3) and Hadyn Paxton (2) were the two official goalscorers for Edinboro. Brittnie Spithaler helped assist the third and final goal with a driven cross that was redirected towards goal by a UPJ defender
- Edinboro were relentless in their pressure at the UPJ goal, having 20 attempts in the game with nine on target
- The Fighting Scots only gave up two attempts over 90-minutes of play. Letting up one goal from a corner kick. Anna Voelker was equal to the only other attempt at goal
- Edinboro won the previous meeting with Seton Hill 2-1. Goals that day coming from Jess Frank and Reece Enochs in a tightly contested match
The Griffins
- Seton Hill enter the game in good form with two wins in their last two games. The Griffins secured a 1-0 victory over both Indiana (Pa.) and California (Pa.)
- Lindsey Pazdziorko has been excellent in both victories. Against IUP the Junior goalkeeper had 12 saves in a standout game and also recorder six saves in the win over Cal U
- Olivia DeLeonibus was the lone goalscorer against IUP assisted by Mikayla Moyer. Corynna Rotoli made sure of the victory against Cal U with her second of the season, assisted by Alexis Garia
