Box Score (New/Sortable Format) EDINBORO, Pa. – The wins keep racking up for Edinboro tennis, especially freshman phenom Kaede Tada (Kashiwa, Japan).
Freshman Kaede Tada (Kashiwa, Japan) continued her winning streak with a victory over junior Karolin Kirchtag in singles one, 6-2, 3-6, 10-7. This coming off the heels of a team sweep of Clarion on their road trip Tuesday evening.
After winning the first set and dropping the second, Tada took a 10-7 final set to win the match.
Tada then paired with sophomore Torye Calleja (Anthem, Ariz./Boulder Creek) for first doubles action and dropped a competitive 6-3 final. The pair was coming off back-to-back victories over first doubles units from Millersville and West Chester.
Calleja was sharp in dropping her first set 6-4, before ultimately falling to Huerta.

Edinboro is scheduled to be back in action Friday April 16 against Mercyhurst University at 4 p.m. The match will be held at the McDowell High School tennis courts, but is closed to the public.
