Edinboro, Pa. - The Edinboro men's basketball team will continue with conference play by hosting PSAC West opponent Slippery Rock University on Monday at 7 p.m, as it was originally postponed.

With 15 games under the Fighting Scots belt, the men's basketball team currently holds a (5-10) overall record and (3-7) in PSAC play.
Edinboro's offense so far has shot around 42% from the field with Deontae Robertson leading the way at 19.7 points per game. Robertson ranks third in the entire PSAC in scoring.
On defense the Scots continue to control the paint with blocks and rebounds. Edinboro is first in the PSAC with 5.13 blocks per game. Dominique Keyes is fifth in the conference with 1.6 blocks per game as he has become the anchor of the Fighting Scots defense. Keyes also leads Edinboro in rebounds, with 137 in just 14 games.
Last time out
On Wednesday night Edinboro fell to IUP with a final of 76-67 on the road. Early in the first half Edinboro would trail by double digits, until a 12-4 before the half trimmed the lead to eight points.
With 3:52 left in the game, back-to-back layups from Robertson and Jaryn Simpson cut the IUP lead to just four points after being down 19 points earlier in the half. Despite Edinboro's comeback effort, IUP pulled away in the final minutes.
For Edinboro, Terrence Moore recorded a team-high 17 points and 11 rebounds. Robertson finished with 15 points, along with six rebounds and four assists. Simpson followed them with 12 points and nine rebounds.
