Bloomsburg, Pa.-- The Edinboro women's tennis team concluded their weekend at the 2022 PSAC Individual Championships.  

Singles Bracket 

In round one of the singles brackets, Rafaella Negrao De Almeida fell to Gabriela Del Val Del Toro of Slippery Rock 1-6, 1-6.  

Cecillia Carayol was another Fighting Scot featured in the singles bracket. Carayol put up a strong fight but ultimately was defeated in a tiebreaker by Elaina Lee of West Chester 3-6, 6-3 (4-10). 

Doubles Bracket 

In the doubles bracket Edinboro would feature one team that consisted of Rafaella Negrao De Almeida and Marina Zottele. In round one Edinboro's duo completed a commanding victory over Brooklynn Rupert and Kendall Winters of Shippensburg 8-0. 

In the quarterfinals Negrao De Almeida/Zottele were matched up against the fourth seed from Mercyhurst in Kayla Dean and Roisin Murphy. Ultimately, the Lakers got the best of Edinboro as the Scots fell 8-2.
