Edinboro, Pa. – The Fighting Scots now 2-7-6 make the trip to Slippery Rock on Saturday as the regular season enters its final week of play. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at the Rock.

- Edinboro enter Saturday's game off a win and a tie in their last two games. Wednesday evening saw a 1-1 tie with IUP in a tightly contested game.
- Lexi Boyk scored her second goal of the season which saw Edinboro take the lead in the first half which Boro controlled throughout. IUP replied in the 50th minute to tie the game.
- Edinboro had eight shots in the game with six on target, forcing five save from the IUP goalkeeper. Kaylee Lauriel had three saves in the game from four shots on target.
- Edinboro were unlucky not to pick up points in their last matchup with Slippery Rock with a 1-0 win going the way of the visitors.
- The Fighting Scots outshot the Rock 13 to 11 with seven shots on target. Lexi Boyk had three shots in the game, forcing two saves.
Slippery Rock
- The Rock are currently 5-3-8, after being unbeaten in their last seven games fell to a 3-1 loss to Cal. U on Wednesday evening.
- Notably they picked up two 0-0 ties with Gannon and Mercyhurst who are atop the PSAC West standings.
- Against Cal. U the Rock went behind early in the 6th minute but were back level through Morgan Sarver four minutes later. Slippery Rock were left wondering how they had lost the game after having 23 attempts in the game. Cal. U took advantage of their attempts and scored two more goals without reply.
- Maddie DeLucio scored the game-winner last time out against Edinboro. Ashley Rea was awarded the assist for the all important goal.
- Emma Yoder had five saves to her name to keep Edinboro at bay and earn a shutout.
- Ashley Rea leads Slippery Rock in scoring with four goals, with Morgan Saver and Kayla Swope each with two.
