Edinboro, Pa. – Soccer enters its final week of the season with a trip to Clarion on Wednesday evening. The Fighting Scots were victorious in their previous meeting with the Golden Eagles and will be hoping for a repeat when they meet tomorrow night.

- Edinboro faces Clarion off the back of a 2-0 loss to Slippery Rock in their last match.
- A goal in either half sealed the win for the Rock with Edinboro coming closest to a goal through Reece Enochs. Enochs had five attempts in the game with three of them on target and saved well.
- Megan Malits leads Edinboro in points with eight from three goals and two assists this season. Reece Enochs is a point behind with three goals and an assist.
- Edinboro took a 1-0 win in the earlier meeting with Clarion this season. The game saw Avery Grischow score the game-winner in the 72nd minute to give Edinboro their first win of the season.
- The Scots had 10 attempts in the game with five on target. Reece Enochs and Clare Crossley both had two attempts in the game to lead the attacking play for Edinboro.
- Kaylee Lauriel had three saves which helped secure the shutout. Lauriel has made 73 saves this season with four shutouts, another shutout on the season would see Edinboro surpass last season's tally of four also.
Clarion Golden Eagles
- Clarion enter Wednesday's game unbeaten in their last three, with one win and two ties. Their win came in a 1-0 victory over Cal. U with Jaci Bowser scoring the game-winner.
- Their two recent ties came against IUP and Pitt-Johnstown. Against IUP Jaci Bowser was once again on the score sheet giving Clarion the lead, before IUP equalized in the 30th minute. Their matchup with UPJ saw a goalless draw with Clarion having 16 attempts in the game but were unable to find the all-important goal.
- Jaci Bowser leads Clarion in scoring with three goals to her name, Taylor Serrano and Katelyn Shaffer each have a goal and two assists, with Kylee Cross chipping in with three assists.
