Edinboro, Pa. – The Fighting Scots welcome Mercyhurst to Sox Harrison Stadium on Wednesday evening. Edinboro enter the game having picked up a point in their last game against UPJ. Mercyhurst are currently on a two-game winning streak with only two losses on the season. 
 
Your Fighting Scots

• Edinboro faced UPJ on Saturday afternoon. A 1-1 result saw both teams come away with a point. 
• Megan Malits scored her second goal of the season, opening the scoring in the sixth minute of the game.
• Edinboro registered 11 shots in the first half, the most out of any first half this season. The second half saw another three attempts with six shots in total in the game on target.
• Lexi Boyk was unfortunate to have a goal disallowed in the 16th minute. The goal would've made it 2-0 to Edinboro and given them a commanding lead. 
• Kaylee Lauriel had five saves in the game taking her tally to 44 saves this season. Lauriel's save percentage has now improved to 0.721.
• Edinboro fell to Mercyhurst 3-1 in the first meeting of the season. Mercyhurst scored three goals in the first half to secure the win. Edinboro replied late in the second half with Reece Enochs scoring from an assist by Lexi Boyk.
• A much improved second half in the game saw Edinboro have six attempts to Mercyhurst's three. 

 
Mercyhurst Lakers

• The Lakers currently hold a 7-2-2 record. Their only loss since they last met with Edinboro came against Gannon at home in a 2-1 result.
• Mercyhurst enter Wednesday's matchup on a two-game winning streak with wins against Daeman and Clarion University, both games ended 1-0 to the Lakers. Teaghan Mehalko and Lauren Casey with the goals secured the victories.  
• Karah Van Horn leads the Lakers in points and goals this season. Van Horn has six goals in 11 games to give her 12 points so far. Lauren Casey and Emily Mijares have contributed with three goals each.
• Maddie Elbro has started all 11 games for the Lakers with 37 saves and a save percentage of 0.822. Elbro had a late penalty save in the last game with Edinboro in the closing stages of the game.
• The previous fixture with Edinboro saw Dani Hartman open the scoring, assisted by Amber Thomas. The lead was doubled through Karah Van Horn with the assist going to Amber Thomas. The Lakers third was scored by Emily Mijares just before halftime.
