Edinboro, Pa. - The Edinboro men's basketball team will continue with conference play by hosting PSAC West opponent Pitt-Johnstown University on Saturday for a 3 p.m. tip off.
Seventeen games in
Edinboro comes into Wednesday's matchup with a (5-12) overall record and (3-9) in PSAC play. As of recently, the Fighting Scots have dropped their last eight games as they look to get back into the winning column.
Edinboro's offense has shot around 42% from the field and connected on 28% off their three pointers while putting up 77.8 points per contest. Edinboro's offensive has been consistently effective in the paint, the Fighting Scots have outscored their opponents in the paint twelve times this season.

On Wednesday night Edinboro fell to Gannon with a final of 90-79 on the road. Edinboro would battle back and forth with Gannon swapping the lead five times.
The Fighting Scots ended the half on a 11-4 run. The run consisted of three triples from three different Fighting Scots including Robertson, Jack Gallagher and Kameron King. Edinboro and Gannon were tied at the half at 41-41.
In the second half, the home team in Gannon would get off to a hot start and continue to hold the lead for the remainder of the game.
Robertson finished with a team-high 23 points, along with seven rebounds and four three-pointers.
Coates ended with 16 points, Simpson followed with 12 points and Gallagher contributed 10 points of his own.

Pitt-Johnstown comes into the competition with an overall record of (16-4) and (12-2) in the PSAC. The Mountain Cats have been hot recently winning nine of their last ten, including a victory over #4 IUP.
In the two teams previous match up back on January 17th, Edinboro was defeated by Pitt-Johnstown 86-64.
