Queens, Ny. – The Edinboro women's tennis team fell to Saint Thomas Aquinas College 0-7 at the College Tennis Center on Thursday afternoon. With the loss, the Scots fall to (5-2) overall. 

Edinboro came into the match winning two of their last three matches for the spring season.  

In Singles play the first match between Vidisha Pallamreddy and Ebba Rosberg. Pallamreddy put up a strong effort but fell to Rosberg 3-6, 2-6. 

Another singles match between Edinboro's Luciana Ponce and Viktoriia Pavlovets went down to the wire. Ponce's effort came up short as she was defeated by Pavlovets 3-6, 1-6. 

In doubles play, the Spartans would pick up three straight match wins to clinch the doubles point. The duo of Rafaella Negrao De Almeida and Marina Zottele lost a hard-fought battle to Karina Blas and Elita Silins 2-6.  

Edinboro will look to bounce back tomorrow morning when they match up against Queens College.
