Edinboro, Pa. - Edinboro women make the trip to California, Pa. on Wednesday, Sep. 28, with kickoff set for 6 p.m.

The Fighting Scots will be looking to bounce back with a positive result after their 1-0 loss to Slippery Rock this past Saturday. Cal. U enter the game having lost their last three games and currently hold the same record as Edinboro, 1-5-2 overall. A win for Edinboro would see them move ahead of Cal. U and potentially ahead of Slippery Rock depending on results elsewhere.

• Boro was unfortunate not to come away with any points in their last match, with Slippery Rock snatching a 1-0 victory.

• The Slippery Rock goalkeeper was equal to five attempts at goal. Emily Vogel, Maggie Hays, Clare Crossley, Devin Keidel, and Jillian Ball all tried their luck but were unable to beat the Rock goalie.
• Kaylee Lauriel had four saves, with two important saves coming at 0-0 to keep Edinboro level.
• Edinboro picked up a memorable overtime victory over their upcoming opponents in 2021. Layne Kimple scored with five minutes remaining in the second period of overtime to secure the result.

• Cal. U are entering the game off the back of three tough results against Mercyhurst, Seton Hill, and Gannon. Each game was lost with two goals conceded, they did get a goal back against Seton Hill and Gannon but were unable to find an equalizer.
• Similar to Edinboro, their only win of the season came against Clarion away from home. Juliana Cruz scored the game-winner from a penalty kick in the 70th minute.
• The Vulcans have scored four goals in total on the season with no more than one in a game. Lindsie Galbreath, Juliana Cruz, Elisabeth Engle, and Christyana Sims have shared the goals so far.
• Galbreath has one assist alongside her goal to top the points table for the Vulcans. Adriana Marina has contributed with two assists from midfield.
• Emily Ouimet has started and played in seven games in the Cal. U goal. Ouimet has 31 saves and a save percentage of 0.795.
• The Vulcans have conceded 11 goals this season, allowing on average 14.4 shots a game, whilst they average 8.8 shots.
