Edinboro, Pa. – The Edinboro men's basketball team is back in action with a pair of non-conference road games this week.
 
The Games
The Scots travel to Malone on Wednesday for a 7 p.m. contest with the Pioneers and them travel to Tiffin for a 3 p.m. matchup with the Dragons.
 
Last Time Out
Edinboro dropped a pair of games at the Joe Retton Classic hosted by Fairmont State. The Scots fell 92-87 on Friday to West Virginia Wesleyan. Bernie Blunt led the offense with 28 points to go with six boards. Daunte Wilcott recorded a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Against Fairmont State, Wilcott tallied nine point, eight rebounds and four assists as the Scots fell 85-64 on Saturday.
 
Rebounding
The Fighting Scots came out of opening weekend with a slim advantage on the boards 87-86. Edinboro pulled down 33 offensive boards on the weekend. Wilcott leads the Scots averaging 9.0 rebounds per game. Jack Gallagher adds 7.5 per contest and Ian McNeill chips in 6.0 per game.
 
Offensive Leaders
Blunt leads the Edinboro offense with 17.0 points per game. Wilcott is also averaging double figures with 11.5 and Gallagher checks in at 10.0.
 
Scouting the Pioneers
Malone is currently 2-0 with wins over Saginaw Valley State and Wayne State last weekend. They average 74.5 points per game while allowing 68.5. Simon Blair leads the offense with 25.0 points per game followed by Tre Baumgardner III with 16.0. Aaron Badibo is averaging a double-double at 15.0 points and 12.5 rebounds.
 
Scouting the Dragons
Tiffin enters the week 2-0 after scoring wins over McKendree and Lewis. The Dragons average 69.5 points per game while giving up 65.5. Morgan Taylor leads the offense 16.0 points per game while Wesley Jordan adds 15.5 and leads the team with 7.0 points per game.
