Wooster, Ohio – The Edinboro men's swim team turned in a fifth place finish after the third day of the Wooster Invitational Saturday.
Luke Edmonds turned in a time of 55.86 in the 100-yard individual medley to take seventh. The Scots posted three scoring times in the 200-yard backstroke.
Kevin Santos touched the wall in 1:56.22 to take seventh.
Armando Apigna was ninth in a time in 1:56.68 and
Brian Bell was 20
th with a time of 2:05.40.
Edinboro also put up three scoring time in the 100-freestyle led by an eighth place swim from
Braden Hain in a time of 47.57.
Frank Barger was next in for the Scots in a time of 47.88 to take 11
th and
Ted Kinney was 15
th in a time of 48.25.
Three more Scots scored in the 200 breaststroke led by
Christian Connell and his 12
th place finish in a time of 2:13.37.
Jake Hillibush touched the wasll in 2:18.69 good for 18
th and
Jacob Bettano was 19
th in a time of 2:19.49.
Tommy Collins turned in a time of 1:53.53 to take third in the 200-butterfly. The 400-yard free relay team of Hain, Barger, Edmonds and Kinney finished out the meet with a fourth-place finish in a time of 3:08.42.
The Scots are back in action on Jan. 12 when they travel to Shippensburg.
