Edinboro, Pa. -- The Edinboro men's basketball team will host Slippery Rock University on Saturday afternoon beginning at 3:00 p.m. The Scots will look for revenge after falling to the Rock in the first matchup back on Jan. 18.
Last Time Out
Edinboro enters the Week with a (5-17) overall record and (3-14) in the PSAC conference. On Wednesday Edinboro battled Seton Hill on the road during the final matchup of the season for the two PSAC West teams.
After a big start from Seton Hill early, Edinboro eventually managed to scrap up a two-point lead before the half. But the Griffins stole back the lead in the last minute of the first half with a 13-5 run. The Griffins increased their lead with a second half shooting percentage of 62%. Seton Hill would complete the season series sweep with a 103-81 win. Edinboro's Kierell Green finished with 25 points and 13 rebounds.
Twenty-Two Games In
With a current (3-14) record in the PSAC conference, Edinboro sits in the seventh spot out of the West and is four games behind Slippery Rock in the loss column.
On the season Edinboro has averaged 70.0 points per game while shooting 41.4% from the field and 30.5% from three-point land.
In Edinboro's last three games they have shot 42% from the field and have taken their offense to another level. In their last game against Cal, the Scots put up a season-high 97 points and made a season-high 28 free throws.
The Scots are second in the conference for offensive rebounds and twenty-sixth in the nation. Edinboro only trails only trails West Chester with their 12.6 offensive rebounds per game.

Naim Miller is Edinboro's leading scorer at 16.3 points per game and is shooting 33.1% from three-point range. Miller has reached double figures in Edinboro's last 18 games.
Green averages 14.9 points per game for the Scots to go along with 8.8 rebounds per game. Green is coming off a monstrous 25-point 13 rebounds performance against Seton Hill.
Dominique Keyes averages 11.0 points and 10.7 rebounds per game. Keyes has recorded ten double doubles this season. Keyes is second in the conference and fourth in the nation for rebounds per game.
Slippery Rock
The Slippery Rock enters the contest with a (14-10) overall record and (10-4) in the conference after their recent 72-57 loss to Mercyhurst. Slippery Rock is ranked sixth in the PSAC West standings and awaits the last potential playoff spot.
The Rock defeated Edinboro 76-63 in their first matchup back on January 18th. Edinboro would lead 24-21 early in the first half, until a 7-4 Rock run but them ahead at the half. The second half was all Slippery Rock as they iced the game with multiple dunks at the end. Jack Gallagher finished with a team-high 15 points on 70% shooting from the field, along with four rebounds.
Slippery Rock averages 73.6 points per game on 44.3% shooting from the field and 30.7% on three-pointers.
Khalid Gates leads the Rock with 14.8 points per game to go with 7.3 rebounds per game. Amante Britt is averaging 14.3 points per game while shooting 39% from the field.
