Edinboro, Pa. -- The Edinboro men's basketball team will return home to battle PSAC-West opponent California University of Pennsylvania on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. inside McComb Fieldhouse. It is the second and final matchup of the season as the Scots will seek vengeance upon the Vulcans.
Last Time Out
Edinboro enters the Week with a (5-15) overall record and (3-12) in the PSAC conference. On Wednesday Edinboro battled Mercyhurst at home during the final matchup of the season for the two PSAC West teams.
The Lakers controlled the lead for the entire game as they shot 42% from the field. Five second-half three-pointers weren't enough for the Scots who cut the deficit to seven points late in the game. Mercyhurst's Nicholas Lang finished with a game-high 22 points, as Naim Miller led Edinboro with 17 points.

Cal defeated Edinboro 78-63 in their first matchup back on January 11th. The Vulcans controlled the game from start to finish as the Scots never gained a lead over the Vulcans. Both teams shot the ball at a similar rate around 40% from the field. Cal's KJ McClurg finished with a game-high of 22 points. Edinboro's Miller led the team with 19 points.
Cal has the second-best scoring offense in the conference behind East Stroudsburg. The Vulcans average 79.7 points per contest.
Keith Palek III leads the Vulcans with 18.0 points per game to go with 6.9 rebounds per game. Jermaine Hall Jr. is averaging 16.7 points per game along with 7.3 rebounds per game.
