Edinboro, Pa. -- The Edinboro women's tennis team is set for their final match of the season as they host Seton Hill. The Scots will celebrate Senior Day as they recognize Anna Zak.
Last Time Out
Last Wednesday, the Edinboro women picked up a tremendous 4-3 road win over California University of Pennsylvania.
The Scots earned four points in singles after falling behind in doubles. Cecillia Carayol grabbed her fifth win of the season with her 6-1, 6-4 win over Leandra Guldimann.
Marina Zottele earned her sixth singles win with a 6-0, 6-3 final over Carmen Duran.
Maria Clara Salomao completed a near sweep with her 6-0, 6-1 win over Hoin.
Ana Nadai grabbed her seventh win of the season with her 6-1, 6-2 win over Feltenberger.
Edinboro
The Edinboro women enter the match with a (6-11) overall record and (3-3) in the conference. The Scots are currently in fourth place in the PSAC West standings and will miss postseason contention by one spot.
In seventeen matches played Nadai owns the best singles record at (7-8) on the season. In doubles, Nadai and Sandra Riecken lead the Scots with their (7-8) record.
Seton Hill
The Griffins of Seton Hill are led by head coach Kim Kissell and are (4-10) overall. The Vulcans are (2-3) so far this season in conference play and sit in fifth place in the PSAC West standings.
In their last match the Griffins were defeated by University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg 2-5. Last season Edinboro pulled out a close 4-3 win over Seton Hill.
