Edinboro, Pa. -- The Edinboro softball team continues PSAC West play with a doubleheader against Mercyhurst Tuesday afternoon at the Edinboro Softball Field. First pitch is set for 2 p.m.

Last Time Out
The Fighting Scots are coming off a conference sweep of Clarion winning games 3-2 and 12-11. Macy Sral picked up a pair of wins in the circle earning the complete game in the series opening 3-2 win and sitting down four straight in relief as the Scots won 12-11 in game two. Cheyenne Shughart went off in the second-game going 4-for-4 with three home runs and a double, knocking in six runs and scoring four. Stephanie Krick also scored four runs in game two while picking up three hits.

At The Plate 
Shughart continues to lead the offense with a .325 batting average. She has picked up 11 extra base hits including six home runs. Shughart has driven in 16 runs while scoring 10. Mackenzie Quider leads Edinboro with 19 RBI. Her .304 average is second best on the team. She has belted five home runs including a 3-run shot against Clarion in the second game. 

In the Circle
Sral ran her record to 10-5 with a pair of victories on Sunday. She has a 3.72 ERA in 92.0 innings pitched. She has recorded 70 strikeouts and 38 walks while holding opponents to a .259 batting average. Lauren Bush has a 5.87 ERA with 62 strikeouts to just 21 walks in 76.2 innings of work.
