Lock Haven, Pa. – The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced its Spring Top 10 with five women and five men recognized for their excellence in both athletics and academics. Junior track & field athlete
Kylie Anicic was named as a PSAC Spring Top 10 honoree.
A native of Mickleton, N.J., Anicic has posted a 3.79 GPA as nursing major earning her second Top 10 award of her career and it marks the 56
th time that a Fighting Scot has been honored since its beginnings in 1997-98.
Anicic claimed three PSAC titles at the PSAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships in the 1,500, 5K and 10K. She qualified for the NCAA Championships in all three events and ran the 5K and 10K in Pueblo, Colo. She earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors in all three events.
In her two seasons with the Fighting Scots, Anicic has earned accolades across three seasons, cross country, indoor and outdoor track & field. She is a two-time PSAC Indoor Track & Field Championship MVP earning four titles in each of the last two seasons. At the 2023 NCAA Indoor National Championships she set Edinboro school-records in the 3K and 5K earning All-American honors in both.
In the 2022 cross country season, Anicic led the Fighting Scots to their fourth straight PSAC Championship. She finished first at both the PSAC Championship and NCAA Atlantic Regional Championship meet. She was the 2022 PSAC Cross Country Athlete of the Year and a second-team All-American. Her performance also earned her PSAC Fall Top 10 honors.
Anicic is the 15
th Fighting Scot to earn multiple PSAC Top 10 Awards. Tabitha Bemis leads the Scots earning the award six times.
