Lock Haven, Pa. – Edinboro senior Kate Szep earned her first PSAC Athlete of the Week honors of the season after her performance at the Fighting Scot Invitational.
 
Szep finished first at the Fighting Scots Invitational on Friday afternoon posting a time 23:06.6. She finished over nine seconds ahead of the second-place finisher.
 
The Scots next action is Oct. 26 at the PSAC Championship meet in Kutztown.
