Edinboro, Pa. – The Edinboro women's cross country team opened the 2025 season with a second-place finish at the Doug Watts Invitational Saturday morning.
The Scots had three top 10 finishers led by a third-place finish from
Katie Slimon. She crossed the line in 18:37.3.
Eliza Miller ran a time of 19:02.1 to take eighth.
Kadi Bauer was 10
th finishing in a time of 19:04.7.
Madeline Hammond posted a time of 19:25.8 taking 17
th.
Annika von Ahnen rounded out the scoring for Edinboro taking 20th in a time of 19:33.3.
Katie Shope was 21st in a time of 19:34.5.
Meryn Boardman turned in a time of 19:57.7 placing 31
st.
Jocelyn Wilson was the next across the line in 38
th with a time of 20:11.9.
Morgan Brandis was 66
th with a time of 21:17.5.
The Scots return to action on Sept.27 when they travel to the Lock Haven Invitational.
