Clinton, Pa. – The Edinboro women's cross country team brought home first place at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational Saturday.
Kadi Bauer was the top finisher for the Scots checking in with a time of 17:35.9 to place eighth.
Katie Slimon placed 11
th with a time of 17:50.3.
Eliza Miller was right behind her with a time of 17:51.6 to take 12
th.
Crossing the line in 16
th was
Madeline Hammond in a time of 18:03.3.
Annika von Ahnen rounded out the scoring times with a time of 18:23.6 to place 27
th.
Katie Shope was the next finisher placing 46
th in 18:50.6.
Meryn Boardman added a time of 19:06.8 to take 64
th.
Lily Bement posted a time of 20:21.8 to take 118
th.
Morgan Brandis was 125
th in a time of 20:36.4.
The Scots next contest will be Oct. 25 when they host the PSAC Championship at the Doug Watts Cross Country Course.
