Lock Haven, Pa. – The Edinboro women's cross country team finished fourth with a strong showing at the Lock Haven Invitational on Saturday.
Katie Slimon was the first Scot across the line finishing in 22:13.5 to place 14
th.
Madeline Hammond turned in a 19
th-place finish with a time of 22:20.3.
Eliza Miller posted a time of 23:37.1 to place 26
th.
Kadi Bauer placed 36
th with a time of 22:51.5.
Annika von Ahnen rounded out the scoring times for the Scots with a 23:01.9 to take 43
rd.
Katie Shope was 64
th in a time of 23:26.8.
Meryn Boardman was next across in 72
nd with a time of 23:37.2 and
Morgan Brandis turned in a time of 25:47.0 to place 151
st.
"This was a good test for us with some strong regional competition," said head coach
Jamison Dietrich. "We are trending in the right direction."
The Scots are back in action on Oct. 11 when they run at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational in Pittsburgh.
