Lock Haven, Pa. –Edinboro senior Kate Szep finished fifth overall and earned a spot at the NCAA Championship leading the Scots as they finished ninth at Saturday's NCAA Atlantic Regional in Lock Haven.
 
Szep finished the six-kilometer race in a time of 20:49.7. Kadi Bauer was the next Scot across the line with a time of 21:41. 0 good for 15^th.
 
Alexa Trax turned in a 51^st place finish with a final time of 22:33.8. Jocelyn Wilson posted a time of 22:55.8 to take 71^st.
 
Magdalena Jakubowska finished 82^nd with a final time of 23:09.3. Katie Shope added a time of 23:36.2 to take 100^th. Madelline Hammond rounded out the lineup with a time of 23:45.0 to take 108^th.
 
Szep will travel to Sacramento, Calif. on Nov. 23.
