Men’s Basketball Set for Pair of PSAC West Contests

Edinboro, Pa. – The Edinboro men's basketball team travels to Pitt-Johnstown on Wednesday before returning to McComb Fieldhouse to take on Gannon on Saturday.
 
The Games
The Scots travel to Pitt-Johnstown on Wednesday for a 7:30 p.m. tip-off against the Mountain Cats. Fans can follow live stats and watch on the PSAC Sports Digital Network.

Edinboro Last Time Out
The Fighting Scots jumped out early and improved to 7-7 overall and 4-4 in PSAC play with an 81-65 win over IUP on Monday.
 
Steve Kelly scored 22 points shooting 6-of-10 from distance while also dishing out six assists. Michael Dunn also tallied 22 points on 5-of-9 shooting from three. Cenker Evran tallied his 10th double-double with 14 points and 16 rebounds. Wilcott also reached double figure scoring with 12 points.
 
PSAC Honors Evran
Evran averaged 14.5 points and 13.0 rebounds per game including a double-double in each of the Scots two PSAC West wins earning PSAC West Defensive Player of the Week honors.
 
His 10 double-doubles ranks third in the nation. He leads the PSAC averaging 12.5 rebounds per game ranking third in all of Division II.

The Mountain Cats are now 7-7 overall and 3-4 in PSAC West play after falling 90-74 to Slippery Rock on Monday. Ryan Smith led the UPJ offense with 21 points. Baden Forup added 20 points while Jay Rose finished with 15 points and a team-best seven rebounds.
