Edinboro, Pa. – The Edinboro men's basketball team makes their home debut this week taking on Point Park and Roberts Wesleyan.
The Games
On Wednesday, Edinboro will host Point Park at 7 p.m. inside McComb Fieldhouse. The Scots host Roberts Wesleyan at 4 p.m. on Saturday. Both games will be
streamed live on the PSAC Digital Network and
live stats are available.
Last Time Out
The Scots are coming off an 82-75 loss to preseason No. 5 Fairmont State on Saturday.
Bryce Baez paced the Scots going for 15 points and eight rebounds.
Amaan Sandhu tallied 15 points and three boards.
Mekhi Reynolds chipped in 14 points, six rebounds, three steals and three assists.
Rowan Carmichael tallied 12 points and four rebounds.
Evan Berger was the fifth Scot to score in double figures with 11.
Statistical Leaders
Carmichael leads the Fighting Scots through two games with 13.0 points per game. Baez adds 12.5 points per contest. Reynolds and
Ibrahim Robinson chip in 11.0 points per game while Robinson leads the team at 7.5 boards per contest.
Scouting Point Park
The Pioneers are making their season debut after finishing last season 11-19 overall. Point Park brings back an experienced backcourt with seniors Brenden Williams, Rob Keys, Aidan Anderson and Kaden Warner all back from a year ago.
Scouting Roberts Wesleyan
The Red Hawks are 0-2 on the season coming off a 95-90 loss to Felician on Saturday. Roberts Wesleyan plays host to Mansfield on Wednesday before making the trip to Edinboro. Keonjay Carter leads the Red Hawk offense with 24.0 points per game to go with 4.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists. Khalik Gardner adds 15.0 points per outing and Jordan Brown chips in 13.0 per contest.
