Edinboro, Pa. -- The Edinboro men's basketball team will play a pair of non-conference games on either side of the Thanksgiving holiday this week.
The Games
The Fighting Scots travel to Malone on Tuesday for a 7 p.m. tipoff against the Pioneers. The game will be
broadcast on FloCollege and
live stats are available. Edinboro returns to McComb Fieldhouse on Sunday for a 3 p.m. contest against Thiel. That game will be
streamed on the PSAC Digital Network and also have
live stats.
Last Time Out
Edinboro leveled their record at 2-2 on Saturday with an 86-64 victory over Roberts Wesleyan inside McComb Fieldhouse.
Mekhi Reynolds scored 30 points and added seven rebounds and an assist. Baez tallied a double-double with 13 points and 15 rebounds including eight offensive boards.
Rowan Carmichael chipped in 12 points and
Ibrahim Robinson added 11 points and six boards.
Player of the Week
Bryce Baez earned PSAC West Player of the Week honors on Monday. Baez helped the Scots to a pair of non-conference victories over Point Park and Roberts Wesleyan averaging 20.0 points and 14.0 rebounds per game. He averaged 8.0 offensive rebounds per contest. He shot .66.7 percent from the floor and 84.6 percent from the line. Against the Pioneers, Baez tallied 27 points and 13 rebounds to go with two assists. In the Scots win over Roberts Wesleyan, he notched 13 points and 15 rebounds.
Scouting Malone
The Pioneers are 2-1 overall after a 68-54 win over Bryant & Stratton on Tuesday. Nic Williams leads the Malone offense averaging 15.3 points. Emmanuel Oladeru adds 14.0 points per game and 5.0 boards. Josiah Pierre is the Pioneers leading rebounder at 8.3 per contest.
Scouting Thiel
The Tomcats are 3-3 overal after a 77-61 victory over Penn State Beaver on Monday. Mike Brown leads the offense with 12.8 points per game. Khamari Accursio-Harris adds 12.5 and Anthony Henderson II chips in 12.3.
