Erie, Pa. – The Edinboro women's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to visiting Le Moyne Saturday afternoon at Westwood Racquet Club.
 
Cecelia Carayol picked up the win for the Scots at number one singles over Charlotte Klein 6-4, 6-2. At number two, Ella Fernando defeated 
Luciana Ponce 6-0, 6-3.
 
Sofia Benito took the first set from Alicia Alvarez 6-4, but the Dolphin won the next two sets 6-1, 6-`1. At the number four, Lilla Raiss scored a 6-2, 6-3 win over 
Lara Sener.
 
Clara Salomao fell 6-1, 6-1 to Stella Simeonova and 
Mary Gerace dropped a 6-3, 6-3 decision to Adelie Wilson.
 
In double action, Rafaella De Almeida and Ponce fell 6-2 to Feriel Mahbouli and Fernando. Klein and Isabella Barona teamed up for a 7-5 win at number two over Carayol and Benito. Paul Casares and Wilson closed out doubles action with a 7-6 win over Sener and Salomao.
 
The Scots are back in action next Sunday when they travel to Daemen.
