Richmond, Va. -- Both the Edinboro swim teams were honored by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) as Scholar All-America teams for the Fall of 2024.

To earn this prestigious recognition, teams were required to achieve a grade point average (GPA) above 3.0 during the Fall 2024 semester. Of the selected teams, an impressive 654 recorded a GPA of 3.30 or higher, qualifying them for the Intercollegiate Coach Association Coalition All-Sport Academic Standings.

The Edinboro women's team posted a 3.53 GPA in the fall semester while the men's turned in a 3.1. 

Samantha Barany, Executive Director of the CSCAA, commented on the impressive accomplishments, saying, "The commitment to academic excellence demonstrated by these teams is truly admirable. It is inspiring to see student-athletes excel both in the pool and in the classroom. The CSCAA takes great pride in honoring and celebrating their dedication and achievements."
