Edinboro, Pa. -- The Edinboro softball team is back in action this weekend with a pair of PSAC West doubleheaders on tap.
The Games
The Scots take on California on Friday with first pitch slated for 2:30 p.m. The game will be streamed on the
PSAC Digital Network and
live stats will be available. The twin bill with IUP has been moved to Sunday in Indiana, Pa. with a first pitch time of 2:00 p.m. This game will also be streamed on the

Last Time Out
Edinboro is coming off a split of a conference doubleheader against Gannon on Tuesday. The Scots took the opener 4-3 and dropped the night cap 5-1. In the first game,
Adeline Maguire went 3-for-4 at the plate with a run scored.
Isabelle Bavaro and
Isabella Becker each tallied a pair of hits.
Giana Ficcaglia struck out three in seven innings of work in the circle with no walks. In the second contest, Maguire was 1-for-3 with a run scored. Bavaro was the only other Scot to record a hit in game two.Â
Grace Kessel took the loss in the circle allowing three runs, one earned, in 2.2 innings work with one strikeout and two walks.
The Vulcans
Cal is 3-19 overall and 0-2 in PSAC West play after dropping a pair of games to Seton Hill on Tuesday. Amarah McCutcheon leads the offense with a .349 batting average with three doubles and three home runs. Cheyenne Beayon has a 1-7 record in the circle with a 5.47 ERA, 12 strikeouts and 14 walks.
The Crimson Hawks
IUP is 10-6 overall and 1-1 in the PSAC West after splittig a doubleheader with Clarion on Tuesday. Tess Smiley leads the offense with a .333 batting average with two doubles and a triple. In the circle, Kendall Young has posted a 6-2 record with a 2.33 ERA with 28 strikeouts.
