Edinboro, Pa. -- Six Edinboro women's lacrosse players were named College Sport Communicator Academic All-District selections Tuesday afternoon.

Marissa Birchard, Skylar Hotchkiss, Rylee Jones, Olivia Kaminsky, Makenna Sinisgalli and Haylee Wilson were the Scots named to the All-District list.

The 2025 Academic All-District® Women's At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes at-large honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Birchard started 15 games for the Scots scoring nine goals to go with an assist. She also picked up 16 groundballs and caused eight turnovers. She is majoring in Nursing. Hotchkiss started all 16 games for Edinboro tallying four groundballs and ausing eight turnovers.  She is majoring in Criminal Justice.

Jones was a second-team All-PSAC West selection tallying 42 points on 28 goals and 14 assists. She broke the Edinboro record for draw controls and caused turnovers during the 2025 season. She is majoring in Health & Physical Education.  A nursing major, Kaminsky notched eight goals and one assist for nine points. Whe also recorded 65 draw controls, 17 groundballs and seven caused turnovers. 

A Speech and Language Pathology major, Sinisgalli tallied eight points on six goals and two assists on 15 shots. She also scooped up 11 groundballs. Wilson made 12 starts playing defense she notched two assists to go with 13 caused turnovers and 20 groundballs. She is a Speech and Language Pathology major.
