Edinboro, Pa. – The Edinboro men's basketball team is back in action with a pair of games this week both inside McComb Fieldhouse.
The Games
The Scots open PSAC West play hosting Gannon on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. On Saturday, Edinboro plays host to Penn State-Fayette at 3 p.m. Both games will
broadcast on the PSAC Digital Network and will have
live stats available.
Last Time Out
Edinboro pushed their record to 7-5 overall and 4-2 in PSAC play after scoring an 81-71 win over Bloomsburg on Saturday.
Rowan Carmichael tallied 23 points and four steals.
Mekhi Reynolds added 19 points, five assists, two rebounds and two steals.
Evan Berger added 17 points and seven boards.
Bryce Baez also reached double figure scoring with 11 points to go with six rebounds.
From Beyond the Arc
Carmichael leads the country with 4.17 3-pointers per game. He also ranks fourth in the nation in 3-point field goal percentage at 51.0 percent. His 50 total triples ranks second in Division II.
Protecting the Basketball
The Scots lead the PSAC in assist to turnover ratio at 1.47 good for 16
th in the nation. Reynolds ranks second in the PSAC in assist to turnover ratio at 2.39. The Scots lead the PSAC and are third in the nation in turnovers per game at 9.5.
Scouting Gannon
The Golden Knights are ranked No. 9 by the NABC and are now 12-1 overall and 6-0 in PSAC play after defeating Lock Haven 87-73 on Saturday. Lucas Sekasi led Gannon with 20 points, eight rebounds, four assists and four steals. Precious Idiaru added 19 points and six boards. Pace Proser currently leads the Golden Knights in scoring with 15.3 points per game. Sekasi is the leading rebounder at 6.1 per outing.
