Allendale, Mich. – Bernadette Zukina set the school record in the 200-meter dash to lead the Edinboro women's track & field team on Saturday.
 
Zukina competed at the Grand Valley Big Meet crossing the line in 25.12 finishing second overall. Anna Elder also turned in a top 10 finish with a throw of 16.69 meters in the weight throw to finish place fifth.
 
At Spire, Noa Arlandis Bernet was fifth ran a 1:00.72 to place fifth in the 400-meter. Morgan Wilhelm turned in a PSAC qualifying time of 9.45 to take fourth.
 
The Scots had a pair of top finishers in the high jump. Jada Cole cleared 1.65 meters to take first. Madeline Newark took third with a jump of 1.60 meters.
 
Michaela Mitchell was third in the long jump at 5.18 meters. Annabelle Briones jumped 4.90 meters to place sixth. Edinboro also had a pair of top 10 performances in the triple jump. Sophia Allison went 10.14 meters to place fifth. Briones was sixth with a jump of 10.10 meters.
 
Itzel Barrios posted a PSAC qualifying throw of 14.48 meters in the weight throw.
 
The Scots are back in action on Saturday when they travel to the Ashland Last Chance Meet.
