Edinboro, Pa. – The Edinboro men's basketball team closes out the regular season with a pair of road games Wednesday and Saturday.
The Games
The Scots travel to Slippery Rock on Wednesday for a 7:30 p.m. tip-off against the Rock. The game will be
broadcast on the PSAC Digital Network and Slippery Rock Athletics will provide
live stats. On Saturday, Edinboro travels to Seton Hill for a 3:00 p.m. contest with the Griffins. The game will also be
broadcast on the PSAC Digital Network and Seton Hill Athletics will provide
live stats.
Last Time Out
The Scots improved to 13-12 overall and 9-9 in PSAC West play with an 85-77 victory over California (PA) Saturday inside McComb Fieldhouse. The Scots trio of seniors answered the bell on Senior Day.
Bryce Baez tallied 18 points and five rebounds while shooting 8-of-11 from the field.
Dakari Bradford added 17 points, two boards on 7-of-8 shooting.
Mekhi Reynolds finished with 12 points, six helpers and three rebounds.
Rowan Carmichael also scored in double figures scoring 11.
PSAC Playoff Picture
Edinboro enters the week holding the fourth spot in the PSAC West standings at 9-9. A win or a Clarion loss clinches the Scots a postseason berth.
Slippery Rock
The Rock is 15-11 overall and 8-10 in PSAC play after dropping a 67-59 decision to Seton Hill on Saturday. Kerwin Prince led the Slippery Rock offense with a double-double of 13 points and 17 rebounds. Maceo Austin tallied 12 points and five boards. Brady Mayo and Braylon Littlejohn each tallied 10 points.
Seton Hill
The Griffins are 14-12 overall and 8-10 in PSAC play after defeating Slippery Rock 67-59 on Saturday. Kedrick Curtis notched a double-double of 18 points and 12 rebounds. Camden Brewer added 17 points and four boards. Rashaad Williams chipped in 11 points. Seton Hill hosts Pitt-Johnstown on Wednesday.
