EDINBORO, Pa. (October 12, 2013) – In their final meet of the fall season, the Edinboro men's tennis team defeated John Carroll 7-2. It was their only home meet of the fall and the victory allows them to finish 2-1 in the fall. John Carroll falls to 0-3.
Despite losing their top match-ups in singles and doubles, the Fighting Scots came out victorious in all of the other games.
Kody Duncan and
Amir Talab each won their singles matches and doubles match (paired together), the only two individuals on Edinboro to achieve that on the day. Jad Abdul-Aal also won each match he was in for John Carroll.
To conclude the year,
Nathan Hansen finished with the best record in singles, winning each of his last four to finish 4-1.
Raffaele Fusulan and
Brandon Romain also achieved four wins. On the doubles side, the combination of
Bruno Borja and
Brandon Romain ended the year 3-4, the most doubles wins on the team.
